Morgan starred on a video on AIDS awareness and prevention, Safe Sex for Men and Women. The proceeds from the film were given to American Foundation for AIDS Research. She's a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has spearheaded numerous other fund-raising projects for the disease and also appeared in front of a specific Congressional committee on AIDS education. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar and the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop's former assistant surgeon general asked occasionally to be his substitute during AIDS awareness events. In addition, she was host of an AIDS Awareness Special with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her two times about AIDS in Nightline. Morgan has won one Emmy award for Diane English's exclusive Murphy Brown episode that was written just for Morgan. Morgan co-starred in ABC TV's Your Money or Your Wife in springtime alongside Joan Rivers. Then, she began the season of summer with Murder At The PTA Luncheon created by Von Zeerneck/Sertner. It also featured Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. She then starred in the production of Harmony Gold, Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also appeared in a psychological suspense drama that was exclusively produced by USA Network. This thriller garnered the best reviews of all time for the network.
